In-N-Out + eating in the grass + planes buzzing overhead = best lunch eva.
Kevin and I stumbled into possibly the best lunch spot, at least for two lame nerds like ourselves. Upon leaving LAX we were searching for a good place for lunch. As we drove past In-N-Out Burgers Kevin casually mentioned his love for the fast food chain, and I casually responded that I’d never been there… but secretly wanted to. So voila - we immediately flipped a u-turn and found ourselves ordering burgers (BAD vegetarians!!!).
As we pulled up to In-N-Out, we noticed that the runways of LAX were literally right across the street and there were people sitting in the grass waiting to watch planes land. Of course that had to be our lunch spot! So we grabbed our burgers, sat in the grass and watched planes buzz overhead about every 3-4 minutes while we ate. We saw three 747s (my favorite plane) land while we were eating. It might have been the best impromptu date ever!
