Today at Pearl Harbor…
Today John, Bryan and I went to Pearl Harbor to visit the museum and the USS Arizona Memorial (above). It was absolutely amazing. We all did the audio tour (if there is ever an option for an audio tour for any museum, I always do it) and they also show you a movie before taking you to the USS Arizona Memorial. After the movie, the three of us were silent. We honestly didn’t talk for maybe 20 minutes. It was a very solemn and moving memorial, I am so glad we went.
John and Bryan were also the perfect people to go with. They are both very well read and educated in America’s war history (uh… and I am not). I learned so very much today.
