What a relaxing weekend!
This picture pretty much sums up my weekend. We headed over to Anderson Island to stay with some friends who recently bought a lake house there. The island is so quiet and relaxing. A large part of my weekend was spent with Maddie, their chocolate lab. Maddie might be the best dog ever. I have this obsession with watching dogs fetch in water - and it turns out this is Maddie’s favorite activity. So naturally we spent a lot of time together!
We also cooked some fabulous meals. I made my wasabi-crusted seared ahi with wasabi mashed potatoes and Kevin made his famous Vietnamese tofu sandwiches. We played lots of RockBand and of course put together a puzzle - puzzles are an essential part of any weekend at a cabin, right?
