Kris’ 2nd Favorite Seattle Sandie
I like sandwiches (maybe not as much as Joey on Friends, but I do enjoy them). I’ve recently started keeping tabs on my favorite Seattle sandwiches and until today I only had one on my list: the Field Roast Sandwich from FareStart - ridiculously good btw.
Today we went to the Virginia Inn for lunch, which in itself is a great place. Feels kinda Euro with their outdoor seating and the chairs even look like they were stolen from a Parisian cafe. Anyhow, my sandwich today - the Veggie Muffaletta, is now my second favorite sandwich in Seattle. It was GREAT! On this delicious masterpiece of a sandie is artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, pinenut spread, provolone, spinach, Creole mustard, and olive salad - yum! And… they serve homemade potato chips that are out of this world, seriously like Tim’s Cascade Chips on steroids.
