Today, we encountered a pizza miracle. While shopping around downtown, Jamie, Michelle & I decided that we needed pizza - bad. The good New York style, fold in half to eat, hot and cheesy pizza by the slice. We search everywhere! We found that there is a lack of pizza places like this downtown (fyi to any pizza entrepreneurs).
We wandered down to Pike’s, where we thought we might find something. We went over to the Pasta Bar in Post Alley, a place where Devin and I frequent for lunch. I wasn’t sure if they had pizza but I thought there was a chance since they have pasta, duh.
The Pasta Bar turned into the highlight of our day. The minute we walked up we saw delicious pizza by the slice and the man working greeted me “Hey Hannah Montana” and told me how much he loved my ‘sassiness’ and my french pedicure (really, what guy notices that?!) He later love-confessed to me, and wanted to get his picture taken with us (above). He was kind of obsessed with us. My favorite was when we served an Italian creme soda to another customer and he told the customer to ‘give the girls a sip.’ I was dying!
P.S. This was the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long time. Oh, and he did make a fresh ‘special’ pizza for us with cheese and pesto -so it was fresh out of the oven delicious! For the three girls searching for our ideal pizza, we found a pizza miracle. HIGHLY recommended - Pasta Bar right by Pike Place chowder, go!
