My Boom…
Today for lunch Bryan and I went to Boom Noodle on Capital Hill… so good! We went based on a review in the Seattle Times that he read a few months ago and has been dying to try it ever since. The food was great, but what stuck with me was the name… here is the explanation of their name:
Hard to read, but is says “In Japan today there is a popular term “my boom” that means “The thing that I am currently obsessed with.” Our “my boom” is Japanese cuisine…
Anyway, I LOVE this term! I’ve been using it a bit today as I find myself obsessed with new things daily so I have ample opportunity to use it. My boom!
