GirlFest 2008 at the Meridian 16 theater!! I LOVE the girl in the pink shirt coming down the escalator giving the ‘thumbs up’ on the movie to the girls on the up escalator!
I’ve honestly never seen so many 20-something girls in one place in my life. Everyone completely dressed up (some in formal dresses) in stilettos, and all with large groups of girlfriends. The lines for the theater went from from floor one, wound all the way up the stairs to the theater entrance. There were even two police standing guard, maybe in case a girl-mob broke out?
My favorite was a group of gay guys who came to the theater wearing ‘Sex & the City’ shirts - so cute. We, of course, got a picture with then. Check Michelle’s blog for that cutie pic.
