Twitter "the great facilitator of e-narcissism" raises $15M.

This absolutely blows me away.  Working at a start-up that’s been trying to raise VC money, this just kills me that a company like Twitter can raise $15 million!   What the hell do they have planned??

I started ‘twittering’ a couple weeks ago just to figure out what the big deal is.  And honestly, I still don’t know.  While I am mildly interested in knowing what the quasi-celebs, bloggers and entrepreneurs are up to - I just don’t know why anyone would be interested in ‘what I’m doing’ all the time.  Maybe I am not quite ‘e-narcissitic’ enough!


My co-worker and I have a standing Twitter joke… it goes like this “Twitter, I just made a photocopy!” or “Twitter, I am going to get a coffee” or “Twitter, I just typed an email.”    Does anyone really want to know that stuff about me???

My verdict is that I am still so intrigued at this massive money raising, I am going to keep Twittering until I ‘get it.’
