Terry is in town this weekend! As most of my friends know, when Terry is in town it must mean one thing… It’s Mariner’s Bobble-Head Night! He is absolutely OBSESSED with collecting Mariner’s bobble-heads. He comes up for each game - so we have an excuse to have our special weekend together filled with lots of food, wine and… of course… baseball.
Tonight he decided he really wanted “good Seattle clam chowder” and since I’ve already taken him to my favorite chowder place we wanted to try something different so we went to Duke’s Chowder House on Lake Union. The food was really good (I had the Seafood Chop Chop salad, which was great) and Terry liked that it was right on the lake and we got to walk by and look into all of the $1-3 million yachts parked along the dock. Why on earth someone would spend $2.7 million on a yacht is beyond me! I get perplexed just thinking of how much it would cost to fill up the gas tank.
