AND… the search for Shave Ice finally comes to an end.
In the afternoon, Bill decided that he absolutely needed shave ice. After asking the concierge for the best shave ice place we had directions to the teenist hole in the wall Shave Ice place in Lihue. However, after getting lost twice, then I drove the wrong way down a one-way street, almost hit a car, we finally found the hole in the wall… only to be told that they stop serving shave ice at 3 pm (it was 4 pm). So then our shave ice pursuit brought us to the port, then to Poipu, then finally to Koloa where we finally found shave ice. Thank god!!!
