Pathetic thought…
Just now I was getting ready for bed (time check: 12:40 am) and I thought to myself: “Wow! For a pre-seminar night I am getting to bed early!” Seriously, how pathetic.
We all work so hard when we’re on the road it is crazy. Today Bryan and I were on the road visiting peeps at 9am-1pm. We took a break for lunch and sightseeing until around 2pm. Then I worked with the hotel conference people here until 4pm, then worked on non-seminar work in my room until 6 pm. Then out to dinner with clients from 6pm-10pm. Next back to my room to do seminar tasks for tomorrow morning until now.
And… I just set my alarm for 5:30 am tomorrow. And this is totally normal (and not even a bad example) of how much we work on these trips.
They obviously have tv’s in our hotel rooms, but I never even turn it on while on these trips. I am starting to feel like my laptop is an extension of my body!
