The winning Poinsettia!
During my time home in Walla Walla for Thanksgiving I wanted to do lots of things that my mom would do during the holidays. For example, baking her famous Carrot Bars, making the Thanksgiving turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy & stuffing, and also going to the Poinsettia farm. She always loved going to pick out multiple Poinsettias to decorate the house, and she would always get one HUGE Poinsettia to put near our entryway.
Of course I made Kevin and my nieces come along for the Poinsettia journey… We had fun running around looking for the perfect plant and posing for pictures in the greenhouse. It is strange how something as seemingly insignificant as a Poinsettia greenhouse can be filled with so many great memories.
