Great ambience, good food, bad service.
If I were a restaurant critic, that would be the title of my review for Le Chat Noir in Bellingham. Sarah and I were super excited to go here for what we call our ‘lesbian dates’ - no we’re not really lesbians we just like going to nice dinners together. So Jake likes to call them our lesbian dates. Le Chat Noir is a cute little frenchy restaurant in Fairhaven. After being moved out of two tables (it did say ‘please seat yourself’ at the entrance) we weren’t really happy. We just ordered a couple starters… that took 45 minutes to come! As a silver lining since the service was so bad and the food took so long we were given free booze and a discount on our check. Free wine always helps remedy any situation for me. So it wasn’t such a terrible dinner afterall.
