Twitter has made me a winner!
I have never been one to win any sort of free prize. I’m never going to be the 9th caller on a radio station, I’m not one to win a contest or be selected from a drawing. I can, however, tweet for prizes.
Here is the evidence… about 2 months ago when at a happy hour at Tidbit, I tweeted about it. As I was getting ready to leave the manager came up to me, thanked me for tweeting about them and gave me an Easter present (see picture of my fabulous gift here…)
Cool, right? Further evidence came this morning while I was getting ready at home listening to the news. There was an author featured who had written a book about eating healthy, a topic I am always interested in. The news anchor announced that the first person to tweet him would get the book for free. And since my phone is never more than 5 feet away from me, can’t you guess who won??
I think the prizes keep getting better… Easter treat then a book… What is next?!
