Ha! This new video by College Humor cracked me up. Poor Ringo just can’t get a break. This video reminds me of the John Lennon quote that Sarah put on her blog awhile back…
Interviewer: Is Ringo the best drummer in the world? John: Ringo isn’t even the best drummer in the Beatles.
Hey Sailor!
So, it is official. Kevin and I are taking a week long, live-aboard sailing class through the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands in a couple weeks!
At the end of the week, we’ll be bona fide, certified, real sailors, yipee! And what’s even better, is that our friends Diggy and Jason are coming with us - could this vacation get any better?! I don’t think so!
Wine Rack - HA!
So Kevin and I really need a wine rack for our place. Thanks mainly to my dad, we have over 70 bottles of wine and need a place to store all of it. I started doing a quick Google Image search for wine racks and came across this, um, innovative product that is ingeniusly called “The Wine Rack” (obviously!).
What’s also awesome, is that the posting I found for the Wine Rack...
Text for money? These girls did - check out America’s Texting Champion.
The part when they text while walking through an obstacle course is SO me while walking downtown. Hmmm… maybe I should enter - although there must be a handicap advantage for iPhone users!
You Matter by Seth Godin
brit:
When you love the work you do and the people you do it with, you matter.
When you are so gracious and generous and aware that you think of other people before yourself, you matter.
When you leave the world a better place than you found it, you matter.
When you continue to raise the bar on what you do and how you do it, you matter.
When you teach and forgive and teach more before you...

AOL and Comcast were recently ranked by MSN Money’s third annual Customer Service Hall of Shame as the top two companies in bad customer service. AOL ranked number one in horrible customer service with 45% consumers rating it as “poor.” Comcast ranked second with 41 percent of consumers rating their customer service experience as “poor.”
I couldn’t agree more. Although I have...
Getting our Sea Legs.
Diggy and Jason rented an adorable 26’ sailboat. This was our first time renting a boat where we had no ‘real’ experienced skipper along with us. Although Jason is currently taking sailing classes, we found we hadn’t quite fully gotten our sea legs just yet. After getting out on the Sound from Shilshole Harbor, we had a few, um, complications with our mainsail. After...
Twitter has made me a winner!
I have never been one to win any sort of free prize. I’m never going to be the 9th caller on a radio station, I’m not one to win a contest or be selected from a drawing. I can, however, tweet for prizes. Here is the evidence… about 2 months ago when at a happy hour at Tidbit, I tweeted about it. As I was getting ready to leave the manager came up to me, thanked me for tweeting about them and...

…Kris and I were on a fabulous adventure. June 1st, 2008 we were actually in London crossing Abbey Road, viewing Paul’s house and studio and taking an awesome Beatles tour. Here we are on the Magical Mystery Tour where we saw childhood homes of all 4 Beatles, Strawberry Field and of course Penny Lane.
I can’t believe its already been a year since Kris and I had a European adventure. ...

OMG, this made me sooo excited! I love that they even nailed the concert venues to coincide with each song. From the Cavern Club in the early days to arenas then even to the Saville Row rooftop. I am so impressed with this!
YAY! 9-9-09! I.CAN’T.WAIT. I just blocked off the entire evening in my Outlook calendar, natch.
