To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Beatles last performance, my favorite Beatles tribute band, Creme Tangerine, will be performing on a rooftop at Pike’s Place. Lucky for me, I have today off AND have to be at the airport this afternoon. So, Kris and I in our Beatles shirts will be finalizing my stalker status with Creme Tangerine! (P.S.... On top of this comment from a stranger just being odd - I hate, hate, hate the word 'pantyhose', ew.)
Remnants of the Seattle Snow...
All of Seattleites remember that wonderful week in December when we had the unprecedented amount of Seattle snow. The city was crippled, we all were stranded at home and didn’t go to work for days.
While most the piles of dirty snow in the streets has long melted away in Seattle, this week I found a not-so-cheerful remnant of the Seattle snow…

So I just tried to call the 800 line for ‘Babies R Us’ to check in on the shipping of an item I just bought for an upcoming baby shower. I think I got the number wrong… I dialed and a recording picked up of a very sexual female voice saying…
“You’ve reached hot, juicy p*&^y..”
I screamed and hung up. People at work think I am weird for sure.
I should probably just go back to bed...
I’m SO having one of ‘those days.’ You know, the days where you actually mess up everything you attempt to do. Evidence so far:
1.) I get to work this morning, get to my desk, sit down. Hmmm… something is missing. Oh yeah - my computer. Which I left…at home. Awesome. I promptly turn around walk back out of the office and proceed to go home to get my computer.

I know we’re now in the second week of ‘09, but I just can’t stop typing “2008” after every date. Ugh! Every year this seems to take me at least a month to start typing the correct year.

The Quest for the Perfect Dirndl...
I’ve really wanted a dirndl for awhile now… During my 2nd visit to Munich in 2003 for Oktoberfest, I stayed with my German friend Silvi. She wore the cutest dirndl each day at the festival, and I was admittedly more than just a little jealous.
So, I’ve been on a quest to find my dirndl… unfortunately it didn’t happen during my trip to Leavenworth a few months ago...
