Have I mentioned how talented my friends are?
While I may not be the craftiest kid on the block, at least my friends are! Jamie, in particular, is quite the crafty girl of all trades. From baking and cooking delicious morsels to creating beautiful homemade cards – she is VERY talented. And now… you can see for yourself just how talented she is when you get your hands on her homemade cards. Visit her store, Tangergreetings to order Jamie’s...

More travel planning progress...
With only a month until our Europe trip (aka: The Magical Mystery Tour) Sarah and I both realized that we need to get on finalizing the rest of our travel plans. With that in mind, today we purchased our Liverpool to Paris flights. We purchased the flights on EasyJet, which is one of Europe’s budget airlines based out of London. Being in the travel industry and being a frequent flier, I...
I just stepped out of my 1:1 meeting with my boss,...
“Your colleagues can reassure you that all is fine, even if you are uncertain about what’s happening. Your feelings are colored now by deep emotional needs that may be hard to express verbally. Instead of vocalizing your desires, be receptive to those you trust and just go along with the flow. Save your thoughts for later in the week.”
Finally... a little success with the new comp.
It is sad that I’ve spent the greater part of my weekend working on setting up the new computer, but I finally had some successes today - small successes but they still count. I officially got my music library and all my photos/videos transferred over to my new computer. It may sounds like a small thing, but the transfer seriously took over 5 hours!

This is my face right now…so frustrated with setting up my new computer. I am having the hardest time transferring my files from my pc to my new computer, and I refuse to pay $60 for Move2Mac (or other software like that that preys on people in my situation). I know I can do this and without stupid expensive software! I have all the tools, I just can’t quite figure it all out yet....
Nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it around.
– Devin said this today when I told him that hearing that he was also in a bad mood, made me feel just a little better. I guess misery does love company. :)
Such an entrepreneur!! →
Brian’s company is mentioned in an article in this month’s Entrepreneur Magazine! Congrats Brian! YAY!!!! My favorite is that Brian called himself the ‘paparazzo of the nano world!’ Haha!!
Jamie could have been "puddy in his hands..."
Good news, Brody Jenner was in town! Bad news, he WAS in town last weekend and we missed it. Little excerpt from a Seattle Times weekly column that I enjoy called Girl About Town… “The Hills’ star Brody Jenner was in town to see pal DJ Vice spin at Last Supper Club, having a boys’ night out at Lucky Strike Lanes in Bellevue.”
Almost buyer's remorse...
I woke up this morning with intense buyer’s remorse over my big purchase last night. I was actually freaking out a bit and woke up panicking. I tend to always do this with big purchases. I don’t think I’ve had buyer’s anxiety like that since I clicked ‘purchase’ on my tickets to Bali, which was my last big purchase. And, you know what, it turned out that I...
Racing to the Altar...
Coffey and Steve are entering Today Throws a Wedding where the Today Show throws a dream wedding for one lucky couple. Coffey and Steve had had to fill out a long application and also submit a one minute video to show why they should be chosen. They chose to do the video on the boat (naturally) and show the Today show how badly they want to win by jumping off the boat into freezing cold Lake...
Happy Happy Birthday Jamie!
Tonight we celebrated Jamie’s birthday by first having drinks with just us girls at Sambar (sooo cute and euro, they even had French toilets!). Afterwards we went to The Viking to celebrate with the rest of the friends. Unfortunately I had a bit too much fun and a bit too much champers, yikes.
Brr! So. Cold. Here.
And, of course I don’t have a jacket. I swear it was not this cold when I left!
OMG! We just dined and dashed!! A first!
And the food and service was so horrible I don’t feel bad at all. :)
You know you're in Hawaii when...
You’re in a seminar in a conference room and birds keep flying in and out of the room!
This might be the biggest resort I've ever been...
We just arrived at the Hilton Waikoloa and this place is huge! There is not only a tram to take you around the grounds, but also a boat. For some fun facts, here is the resort in numbers… 62 acres oceanfront resort 1,240 luxury guest rooms/suites 3 freshwater pools: two with waterfalls & waterslides 4 acre swimming and snorkeling lagoon 9 restaurants and 9 lounges 1 museum walkway...
Something that always bothers me...
You know what I think is annoying? People who try to tell other people what is best for them. The example I’ll share happened a few minutes ago, and it really bothersome to me since this particular situation it happens ALL the time to me. I was just outside getting some vitamin D by the beach. Something about me is that when I get hot, I get flushed. Not sunburnt, but flushed. So people...
It is hard to capture how gorgeous Hanalei Bay is with pictures, unless I had an intense wide angle lens - so I took a short video instead. It is this great harbored bay surrounded by green cliffs, with a nice (and uncrowded) beach and a great spot for beginner surfers. I LOVE it so much!
