Frankie's a Cutter
Tonight we’re going out to dinner to Cutter’s with Brian’s lawyer, who is in town from NYC. I am really excited to meet Brian’s lawyer, who I actually feel like I know already since Brian talks to him multiple times a day. He almost seems like a 2nd father to Brian.

Happy (random) Anniversary!
Brian and I aren’t people to celebrate insignifcantly numbered anniversaries. We basically choose to celebrate around the 6 month timeframes. This reason is why he completely caught me by surprise today. He chose today (our 8 month anniversary) just so it would surprise me.
As it turns out Brian has been working hard creating an iMovie of our time in Bali. It was 40 minutes long, so...
Today.
So today I decided to finally take the Permit 12 class at the Columbia Winery, which enables me to pour wine at the Washington Wine Ambassador events. They have so many great wine festivals and taste events, and I have been dying to volunteer at them! We watched a 70 minute movie followed by a scantron test. I had a sickly feeling I was in college again.
Brian keeps joking that now I am...
Stylin' Shower at the Seattle Tennis Club
Today we had Courtney’s wedding shower (of many more to come!) at the Seattle Tennis Club hosted by Bliss (Peter’s mom and very similar to ‘Bunny’ on S&TC). It was in a gorgeous room with a great view of the lake, very high society! We decided to fit in we had to use words such as ‘lovely’ and ‘spendid’ to fit in!
Video from the Hoedown. My favorite part of this video is watching how absolutely DESPARATE I am to get my hands on the microphone. I think I grabbed for it almost 5 times before the singer would actually give it to me. I ALWAYS do this with live bands, I can’t stand not having the mic! And I can’t stand NOT getting up on stage, very strange for an otherwise introverted girl.
We got a Hoe-down!
This is what I was dying to say at the Hoedown party tonight maybe if a girl fell? I don’t think I ever got to use it. :(
Brian, Jason, Diggy and I went to a fabulous Hoedown tonight hosted by JJ McKay, aka the ‘Perle Mesta’ of Seattle. He is known for throwing the greatest parties - and he never dissappoints! We had a fabulous time… and for the first time in my life I...

I miss the 70 degree weather already and I haven't...
Today I so appreciative of the warm weather and the clear blue skies! I am already anticipating coming back to dreary Seattle, ugh. Holly and I went to lunch at a great place called Olive and Ivy then went shopping. I got a great pair of Dior sunglasses at Sak’s Off 5th for $99! (Regular $350!). Then Holly and I went to Oregano’s for dinner, this place is probably the best bargain...
Sometimes I really LOVE plane rides.
I had the most productive plane ride to Pheonix.
-Quick little snoozer upon take-off (of course) for about 15-20 mins. -Wrote all Christmas thank you cards - finally! -Finished article for newsletter -got a start on the seminar presentations
Yay! I love productive plane rides.
AZ bound.
Packing tonight for my quick trip to Arizona. Although the weather will be a modest 65 degrees, consider it summer for me! I can’t wait. Becca will be picking me up at the airport and I can’t wait to see her! Talk about a best friend with a life different than my own…this morman wife and mother of 3 could not have a more different life, but could not be more similar to me in...
Yummy Betty
Tonight we went to Betty, a fairly new restaurant on the top of Queen Anne. It is the sister restaurant to Crow, on lower Queen Anne. It is on the 30 for 30 list so we thought we’d try it out. It was great! The highlight was definitely my starter: curried cauliflower soup - divine!
Sick Day...
I had to take a sick day from work today and literally slept 20 hours.
Sicko
Ugh, so sick today. Brian and I ventured over to West Seattle (he LOVES West Seattle) for breakfast and grocery shopping. We had a fantastic breakfast at Easy Street Records. I had NO idea they served breakfast at a record store, however it was a truly Seattle experience. I felt like I was in a scene from the movie Singles.
Vino is the theme for Friday night...

ChangoVilla!...
To Market, To Market
Ugh. I am having the hardest time getting motivated at work this week. I need to pump out our 2008 Marketing Plan… and quickly. I’ve researched, downloaded tons of templates and samples, thought about what I want to create, brainstormed… but yet can’t get a single thing down on paper. This is something new for me to write a Marketing Plan, and normally with new things I...
God Grew Tired of Us.
This was a great movie! It was educational, informative, inspiring, moving, funny, and tear jerking. It gave a really interesting view of the Lost Boys of Sudan and their relocation to the United States to find a better life and help bring awareness and help back to their home country. I haven’t given much thought as to the vast cultural differences one would experience when moving from...
On the plane ride back from New York, I needed a little project. I also wanted to work on my video editing skills… so voila! A video of our weekend in New York was born. I am pretty happy with my first project! :)
