I'm Resolving...
So here they are, my list of 2008 Resolutions. It is such a cheesy tradition I do every year, and maybe even cheesier to post them online. I guess this way I have less excuses to forget about them. - Yoga! Do yoga more. Yoga makes me feel healthier and more connected to my body. - Learn how to meditate. - Go to Europe at least once. Amsterdam? Paris? Madrid to see Karen? - Travel to one...
Next Christmas, I'll Give You my Heart...
With the Christmas decorations down, Christmas is officially over for this girl. I have to say, I was kind of a grinch this year. Not horrible, but I definitely didn’t get into the spirit as much as I normally do (and I normally REALLY get into it!). I blame a bit of it on spending Thanksgiving in Bali. Although it wasn’t a bad place to have Thanksgiving, I just didn’t get...
P.S. I Love You...
This month’s MovieClub (aka, our girls’ movie day) was P.S. I Love You. Basically, there were six crying girls as the theater - it was a tearjerker! I also couldn’t help but want every single one of Hilary Swank’s outfits in the movie, I have such clothes envy right now.
2007 Re-Cap...
Because I am a huge dork, I put together a re-cap of my 2007, just in time to make some goals for 2008! Travels: Travel summary in numbers: 5 countries visited (Italy, France, Canada, S. Korea, Indonesia) 13 states visited 49 plane flights taken 72,187 air miles traveled...
What a nice girlfriend I am...
Tonight Brian sent me some quotes from our phone conversation… “You know me, I can’t let any romantic moment go unruined” “One of my new year’s resolutions is to think that you’re funny”
Christmas Movie-Fest 2007
Each Christmas we seem to find ourselves all in the family room, blasting the heat until we practically sweat, and watching movies. This year we watched… -The Kingdom (great movie, maybe not the best pick-me-up for Christmas though) -The Bourne Ultimatum (wasn’t this the exact same movie as the Bourne Supremacy?) -The Holiday -Miracle on 34th Street (90’s version) -Various Ugly...
Dutch Baby!
Dutch Babies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_baby_pancake) go pretty far back in our family. They’ve remained a staple in our Sunday morning breakfasts. Our favorite part is slicing them right after they come out of the oven and watching them shrink! This year we made one Christmas morning, a change-up from the egg/potatoe casserole we usually make. Alina and I made it, and it was...
